On June 15, 2020, VietChallenge signed a collaboration agreement with Foreign Trade University Innovation and Incubation Space (FIIS), a Vietnamese comprehensive ecosystem promoting global entrepreneurship and innovation, to bring more intensive coaching & mentoring sessions to startups.

According to the collaboration agreement, FIIS will be one of the VietChallenge training and mentoring partners for the 2020 Competition. The agreement also allows VietChallenge to represent FIIS as a partner in both Vietnam & the U.S. As a part of the agreement, VietChallenge will introduce its startups to participate in the FIIS’s signature RUNWAY program - a business acceleration program for Vietnamese startups to scale up domestically and internationally thanks to the expertise of mentors and partners in its network. On the other hand, startups from FIIS are given the chance to connect with investors, venture capitalists in VietChallenge’s network around the world.

Ms. Ha Le, Director of FIIS commented on this agreement: “FIIS's activities are all directed to international links, connecting global start-up resources. We are very impressed with VietChallenge's activities over the years and are greatly inspired by the talented and enthusiastic young leadership team of VietChallenge. It is our pleasure to accompany VietChallenge from 2020. We strongly believe that FIIS and VietChallenge can support each other in upcoming activities to create more values for Vietnamese startup community.”

VietChallenge CEO Tai Nguyen, who is also a Foreign Trade University alumni, highly appreciates the collaboration: “VietChallenge startups will benefit a lot from FIIS’s training programs, expertise, network and investors. We are very pleased with the collaboration and confident that RUNWAY will be the signature program and a modern model for Vietnamese accelerators. Personally, as an alumni, I am also very proud to promote, support and nurture the entrepreneurial spirit and the next generations of startup founders incubated at Foreign Trade University, one of the top business schools in Vietnam”
