VietChallenge - Global Entrepreneurship Competition for Vietnamese
The first global entrepreneurship competition for Vietnamese.
VietChallenge is the largest annual startup competition for Vietnamese founders and non-Vietnamese founders aiming to expand their business to Vietnam’s market.
Since 2015, the three-round-judging competition has helped elevate more than 800 startups who have now raised more than $8 million. During the previous four seasons, VietChallenge awarded $150,000 in cash with no strings attached to its contestants. The final round of VietChallenge in the past four years was held at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
In 2020, for the first time, VietChallenge will host its final round in Vietnam. VietChallenge will provide finalists outside Vietnam with air tickets and accommodation. The winners of VietChallenge 2020 will advance to the Vietnam Startup Championship competition in Boston, Massachusetts and compete for a total cash prize of $25,000.
VietChallenge is hosted by the Association of Vietnamese Students and Professionals in the United States, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization representing Vietnamese students and professionals in the United States.
“At this competition, Vietnamese entrepreneurs will thrive.”
- Ambassador of Vietnam to the United States H.E. Mr. Ha Kim Ngoc
